HE IS DEAD!

HE IS DEAD!

It's one of the hardest things to do but we must accept the fact the He is dead. I believe we are hardest on ourselves when it comes to believing that the old man is dead!

2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Maybe today you are hindered, held back, or even held captive by thoughts of the past and who you were in the past. Let me remind you that your past does not define who you are! We serve a God that makes all things new! When we are a Child of the King --we are who HE says we ARE!

So often because we cannot FORGET we hold onto condemnation that speaks of our past. We cannot forget and  people choose not to forget.  Many times people in our lives are used as a tool to daily remind us of our past.

BUT, our God does not do that! Thank you Lord!

Isaiah 43:25 "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.

Psalm 103:12  He has removed our sins as far away from us as the east is from the west.

I don't know about you but doesn't it seem that each time we start taking steps forward the enemy will remind us of just how unworthy we are to do anything for God. He reminds us of that "old man" and delights in seeing us back away from things that God is asking us to do!

BUT today let's make the choice to move forward! The old man is no more and all things are made new! You are a NEW creation! Even His mercies are new every morning! We serve a God that believes in us and gives new hope, new strength, and new joy! We have the blessing of waking up each day and breathing in NEW MERCY from God!

Have you ever considered the definition of MERCY? It is compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within their power to punish or harm. WOW! What a God we serve!

Your past should make you stronger but should never make you weak!

Our past experiences may have made us the way we are, but we don't have to stay that way-Joyce Meyer

Mistakes are part of everyday life. Believe me, I am having to learn this on a daily basis. None of us will be perfect. Mistakes are lessons not setbacks. I want to encourage you ( and me!) Let's be free from our past mistakes, present mistakes, and future mistakes!

Psalm 107:14 He brought them out of darkness and the deepest gloom and broke away their chains.

Praise the Lord even now for His new mercies. Praise the Lord for the new creation you ARE!
I hear those chains falling...don't you?

Don't waste anymore time laying in the dirt of your past defeats!
Arise, Get up and Go be who God is calling you to be!
