Overcoming Life! Be Encouraged!

Honestly, I cannot tell you the number of times I have wanted to quit!
Maybe you are asking, Quit What?
In this life we are left with a lot of choices. Choices that are not always easy to make! Everyday that we get up in the morning we start making choices right away. Some of these choices are simple and some are not so simple. I know for me, I make choices and hope for results and when I don't always see those results in the way I had hoped for it can become discouraging.

When the results don't come according to our plan we can begin to entertain the thought of vacating, exiting, departing from, withdrawing.
This might include withdrawing from dreams, abandoning those who love us the most, vacating hopes for a better future or for positive changes in our lives.

We all have weaknesses and just maybe you too have had feelings of wanting to Quit     ( for whatever reason) but even in our weaknesses GOD IS FAITHFUL!

1 Corinthians 10:13 No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it.

Hallelujah! What an encouraging Word from the Lord!

The truth is you know we can't quit! You know we don't REALLY want to quit! Sometimes its a very scary thing to give our all, to pursue our heart, to TRUST!! None of us want to fail and as long as you don't give up ... you don't fail!

God gives us courage even when we don't have confidence. A God-given courage will give us the confidence we need to stand on His Word and to trust Him in all things. If we wait for OUR confidence to surpass our weakness and our fear we will always come up short but God makes us brave and gives us a courage that shines forth in confidence. Believe me, its not of our own but of God for sure!

Hebrews 10:30  But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed but of those who have faith & preserve their souls.

As you know, none of us are perfect. I certainly do not have all of this perfected in my own life, but I share these devotions so that hopefully it will encourage you. I have come to realize that people have so many life stories and choices that they live with in this life and we need to build one another up. It is my prayer that this devotion blesses each one that it is intended to bless.

Scripture declares in Hebrews 10:36 ESV "For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised."

I am so thankful that we serve a God who is alive and active in every detail of our lives!! Glory to God for all that He does for His children!

Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope you were blessed!!
