Hope Restored
It seems today that so many have lost HOPE! Realistically, many don't even understand HOPE!
It's not the "I hope I get what I want for Christmas" or the "hopeful wish of blowing out a candle." This is a HOPE much deeper and very real!
What happened to your HOPE? It used to be there! You remember that time when you actually believed in HOPE! You actually believed for your breakthrough and knew if it wasn't here in this moment..... it was just around the corner! And this could be your very day! Maybe your HOPE feels defeated or strangled out by your trials.. Maybe you have been waiting and now it seems all Hope is lost!
Well, Guess what? Even though it may SEEM that all HOPE is lost...it's not! ( That is great to hear isn't it!!?)
The Hopes and Dreams of each of us are so often seemingly shattered by the events of life. Often times, tears and even anger ensue. Tears are not always bad even Jesus wept.
But, there are tears of desperation, worry and extreme anxiety. In the Book of Esther, Mordecai wept bitterly when he discovered the plot of Haman to have all of the Jews killed. His desperation spread to every part of the country. Desperation comes when it seems we have nowhere to turn in life and it seems that all is lost.
The psalmist experienced the same dilemma in Psalm 42:3 (KJV) My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God? He then began to question himself, Psalm 42:5 (KJV) "Why art thou cast down, O my Soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance." In times of desperation, trust God and turn to Him always.
We have all faced this almost with each passing day, and most often than not, IT IS OUR VERY OWN EMOTIONS THAT STEAL OUR HOPE!
With that said,
H-ang O-n P-ast E-motions HOPE
Hang on past your emotions!! Your HOPE is there!!
Psalm 40:1-3 "I WAITED patiently and expectantly for the Lord, and He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings. And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear(worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord."
Don't let your emotions get the best of your HOPE today! Let your HOPE be restored even in this moment! You will not be disappointed!
Romans 5:5 "Now hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us."

Sometimes, I think, "Is she talking to me?" Thanks for being so encouraging. This word truly was FOR me. :-)
